This list might help you out, because it's gonna help me out.
- Customised T-Shirts. If you're good with any graphical design softwares, design an image that best depicts the person you're giving the present to. Then head to your nearest digital T-Shirt printing shop and pick out your desired T-Shirt material.
- Motivational Books. I did this one to my mom, dad and both my sisters. Gave them books based on their personalities and hoped that they would utilise them appropriately. I think my mom has read a few pages so far from the book I gave her, I can't say the same for my dad and sisters though.
- Gift Cards/Vouchers. Departmental stores are the way to go for this if you have a good, deep wallet this year. Probably a 100 bucks gift card, just so they could get a few things they would need to get 2012 rolling.
- Local Singers CD Albums. CDs are pretty much a thing of the past. Sure they're not as expensive as they were 10 years ago, but who the public tend to go for mp3s now. So instead of simply giving them a hit international album, give them a local artist's album instead.
- Pets. If you have someone who has always been wanting a pet, adopt a pet from the local SPCA.
- Polaroid Cameras. These cameras is coming back and truly speaking, they're not really that expensive. Though the films are. This would be a fun gift for that someone who's fun and enjoys snapping pictures of people at parties.
- Cinema Vouchers. These are just legendary. I'm a movie buff so if someone was to give me movie vouchers, I would go insane!
- Digital Photo Frames. These came to our lives about 7 years ago but they're still funky.
- Flight Tickets. AirAsia is pretty much the world's budget airline so it goes without saying, their tickets, if purchased early, should be cheap. Get a pair of tickets to Phuket for February and use them as a gift. Of course, with AirAsia, ticket transfer does not exist, so make sure to get the recipient's name and ID before buying those tickets.
- Ran out of ideas, but I think 9 listing isn't that bad. Use them wisely young padawans.
